unknown bulb in my headlights???

Exclamation unknown bulb in my headlights???

hey i just got my 02 civic and i noticed inside my headlights where that little oval thing is there is a little blue bulb inside it, but it doesnt work or i just dont know how to turn it on lol....but yeah can somebody tell me what that is and possibly how i can fix it

its a 194 bulb. you can change out the bulb by pulling back the front wheel inner fender lining. The owner manual teaches you how to do it.

and actually i recommend getting a w5w euro bulb (also known as 2825 for sylvania), these are 2x brighter than 194 and they just started stocking them in stores. its the same exact size, just brighter filament. i have them all over my car.

you should replace with w5w, theyre maybe only a couple bucks a pair.

but can you explain to me what it is??? is it something stock??? or aftermarket cause the guy i bought it from had done quite a bit of aftermarket things so i wouldnt be surprised if it was aftermarket......and it looks like a blue bulb

hey guys uhh yeah i just installed my new bulbs!! (all autozone had were the 194 bulbs none of the w5w) its pretty cool i guess but i think ur right with the w5w because the 194 are not very bright "(

but its good enough for now and yeah thanks for everything wouldnt have been able to do it without you two!!

no problem

I still prefer LEDs cuz they are more energy efficient, although I do turn on my pair of 55W foglights at night lol.
