Will Ex gauges fit on an LX?????
I see no difference between the two guges but maybe I am not lookling close enough. I want to buy some reverse EL's but this guy only sells EX gauges for automatics. I know Autotechnic makes some for my car but I hate the fact that their gauges cover up the warning lights (on the corners over the car temp and fuel gauge). so I found some AIR el gauges and those don't seem to cover up anything. Please let me know I am trying to bu some of these as soon as possible.
Thanks

I don't want any indiglo gauges. I want the reverse el gauges but not the ones with the white over the temp and fuel gauges. (link above). I think AiR (Air dynamic racing) has some but I can't find them anywhere.

l That's what I was thinking. The only thing I would hve to worry about is the rpms, but there is no
l difference that I can see between the gauges of an EX and LX automatic.

It depends on the model and year. I have an 01 LX coupe and I can use the 02 EX sedan guages. Basicly, look at your red line and look at the red line on the gauges you are about to buy. If they are the same then you can get them.
I have the gauges from autotechnic and you can cut out the part that covers the status lights. It won't hurt the gauges. JUST DON'T CUT THE BLACK PART!!!! I have mine installed and they work fine. If you want I can post pics.

Here are the pics. One at night and one at day.
My flash made a bad glare on the day shot.

I just used a pair of sissors to cut out the white that covers the status lights.

Hey Narflar, just wondering how much you paid for those.
Also to everyone: how difficult it is to install them. Do I have to remove my entire dash and things like that?
Also, how different are getting new gauges and just getting overlays. Do they have a different effect, harder/easier to install, etc.? Thanx.

I got mine off ebay for $65. It's not difficult to install. I had an issue with my tach sticking but nothing a little tape can't fix.
It's not hard to install. Do a search for Indiglo, a lot of info available.
All the indiglo guages are overlays. I don't think they sell a complete aftermarket replacement for our cluster.
