spark plug wires

anyone have any suggestions on spark plug wires?

i currently have on some taylor wires, but apparently, the brand is horrible. i just got my car serviced, and i found out the wires weren't sitting right at all, causing my engine to misfire. the tech said he had the same problem with his own car (an older mustang).

should i bother getting another set of aftermarket wires or just go with stock?

Re: spark plug wires

noob question here;
when you replace your spark plug wires do you have to replace the wires as well?

Thanks

Re: spark plug wires

If you drive the 04 VP as in your profile, then you do not have plug wires. The 7th gen has individual coils which should last quite a while.

If you are asking for an older model, I can't say that I understand your question. If you mean replace wires when you replace plugs, you don't really have to but it's not a bad practice.
