Vortec Supercharger
hey..this could be rumor but i dunno...my buddy just told me that he test drove his buddys 2k1civic with a vortec supercharger..he said he had to have it custom bracketed..must be nice huh? im gonna give vortec a call and see whats up.

Rep Power: 0 i highly doubt it because if they had started to make one for our civic they would have probably advertised just to get people to save money for it. it would be nice if its true but give them a call and find out wat they say. as far as i know there are no superchargers out for our car.

Rep Power: 0 yeah, it's not even cool to try and fit in by saying there's a turbo/supercharger out for our car. especially from vortech.. they mainly focus on integra type r and the civic si.. why all the sudden would they jump on making a supercharger for a sohc cam D17 motor? "things that make you say hmm" and dude, if you're not lying to make freinds... i'd suggest buying a new alternator.. and/or capacitor.. stinger makes a nice one.

You know, I really hope that someone DOES do a really cool engine swap. I hope someone DOES get a custom turbo/supercharger. Hell, I'd even love to see some REAL dyno sheets from someone who has gotten a port and polish, or anything of that nature. You know why? Just 'cause I'd like to know that SOMEONE has actually done it. Good for them, I say! I figure hey...I don't have the cash to pull off something like that, but I'd love to see someone else do it. Frankly, I'd LOVE to see someone pimp their civic to the point that they could tear up my old roomies WRX, so maybe he'd shut up for once! (Oh...and if someone wants a damn pic of my roomies WRX, I CAN PROVIDE ONE...>>hint hint<<.) But until that day, I sure wish people would stop getting my hopes up with threads like this...

Rep Power: 0 its possible to do it custom with vortech if you fabricate stuff.... one of my friends is building a SC witha vortech blower for our friend's 325i..... the guy that is building it has one on his car and it is CRAZY!!!! hes pushin around 400 hp now i belive. sickkkkkkkkkkk car!!!!

Rep Power: 0 JUST A FYI I WROTE TO VORTECH ON 3/14 TO SEE IF THEY WERE GOING TO MAKE ONE FOR ARE CAR AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE NOTHING IN THE WORKS YET.
