Attn: Anyone with AEM pulleys...

Well, I have them on my car. When I turn my car on with the AC on.... a high pitch sound comes from the general area of the pullies. Im not really sure why its doing that. Im also pretty sure its not the water pump causing that noise either. The sound goes on for about 5-8 seconds then stops. Does anyone know why it is making this noise, and how do I fix it? Thanks

It's probably the alternator.......and if so, get used to the sound.

One of the belts might be slipping on the pulleys, check the tension or take it to any shop and they will tighten it for you. Also the belt might be dirty with some oil or the pulleys got dirty when u installed them. I had this happen in my old Nissan Altima I tightened the alternator and it slowly went away. Also do you feel any difference any change? I want those too.

Word. It kinda sounds like a high-pitched burnout.
