Rep Power: 0 I got steelies on my EX. Reason is probably because I informed the dealer that I really didn't want alloys. I was going to switch them to rims anyhow. That lowered the price some several hundreds.
but yes, 41 lbs. 15 inch.

Rep Power: 0 41 lbs....damnnnnnnnnn...I guess some light weight rims would really help the acceleration times. Geez..I didn't know they were that heavy. I wonder how much the tire weighs itself..

Rep Power: 0 with or without tires? if 15" steelies are 20lbs each, then that's not bad because 15" tires are lighter than 17". so in the big picture, slightly lighter 17" or 18" alloy rims with tires will come out to be just as heavy due to the heavier tires.

Rep Power: 0 that is just my assumption. common sense tells me that a tire that is wider and bigger in diameter with more surface area is heavier. but someone who is sure please clarify.
