Can anyone tell me what size hoses (3,4,6,10mm?) I need to do all the hoses in my 01 LX? Did you buy a kit or purchase seperately? From where? How much did you pay?
The only kit I saw was at optauto.com for $24.95. Is that a good deal? Thanks for any input.

Rep Power: 394 Shoot, I could tell you what sizes to use, but I wrote them down somewhere and I forgot where I put them. I'm going to buy red silicone hoses from www.mcmaster.com though. They're the cheapest place to get them from. From memory I recall 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" to do the whole engine bay.

Rep Power: 0 Ive been wanting to get hoses for my ride as well....but I've run into the following dilemma:
My overall theme is BLUE AND SILVER.
Blue Silicone Hoses and Loom aren't the same blue as my car AND they tend to FADE.
White, gets dirty too fast and it doesnt match my theme.
SILVER Silicone hoses I have only found from Weapon R and they charge too much.
Should I just go with the imitation Steel Braided hoses? I think that's my best bet. Anyone know where i can get those at a good price?

Oh, they have something like that? I don't know? It would be nice to replace all of the hoses in our car with steel braided ones, that's for sure. This would require quite a bit of work though. I think I'm going with red. Red and silver works. I don't think I'de ever get a paintjob. If I did, it would just be to make my car a darker grey color. I am grey afterall. Rep Power: 0 its is them same for all models. the kit includes an installation guide x amout of feet of 2 different size hoses, cutter, ties etc. keep i mind the only hoses you are actually replacing are the ones that carry water/ cleanming fluid. everything else is slit and wrap around.

Rep Power: 0 The Hose Techniques set seems like everything will be precut for us. Anyone know which color would look best on a Satin Silver car (Blue or Silver or both).
Also, what site has the silver-braided hosing?
Anyone know the exact sizes (I know Grey had them) but does anyone have them now?
Thanx
