which suspension kit
well, i got the NEX setup for $849 from groupbuycenter.com. They are not too harsh and ride well. Have fun doing the front yourself because of the suspension setup(Macpherson strut). The person who did the instructions was on crack b/c setting the lower perch at 40mm the steering arm rubs inside. I set it up 5 full turns and it was fine, but now my tires rub on hard turns(205/50/16). I gonna have lower the front perch up one full turn. I also adjusted the spring perch so the car does not bounce when you bounce it from the mounting spots. My tires give before the suspension gives. - my tires are inflated to 30 psi. My car also launches off the line quicker and slows to a stop quicker - but of course. Just waiting for my rear upper strut bar.

Was wondering if you guys had a comparison between the NEX and Ground controls with Konis? Which one a better ride comfort-wise and which performed better? Do you have any problems with the NEX setup? Heard the rear makes a little noise, but people say the rear will always make a little noise. You rub with 16s on corners? How much did you drop it and how much gap do you have left between your fender and tire? I have 17s and I'm worried about rubbing. Are you saying the front is easy or hard to install...a little confused? I thought the new strut system makes it easier to remove the front suspension system, but I might be wrong.
I have some questions too. Are the shocks adjustable, or is it just the ride height? Seriously, how stiff is the ride? I was thinking of GC and Konis, but I want to find out it the NEX setup is better.

The shocks aren't adjustable, but the interesting thing is that there are two ways of lowering the car. One- you can just lower the spring perch, which will lower your height and shock travel. Therefore your car will be lower and have probably a stiffer ride from the decreased shock travel. Two - You can lower it at the bracket where the whole set up will lower your ride height but shock travel is not affected. This will help you retain the comfort level by retaining more shock travel and thus a softer ride. But keep in mind that these are Spec Race, and will be still stiffer than usual. I think that's what people have been takling about when referring to adjustable spring tension. Hope that answers your question perfect.
