Hyper White turn signals and the law got you down?

I just got my first fix-it ticket for my hyper whites in my turn signals. So i went to my local shop that i use, and asked them what i could do so i dont ruin the look of my projectors with a crummy amber bulb. A new miracle bulb was sujested to me. "Tell me more i said". What it is is a bulb that has a "oily" "silvery" look to it, but flashes a bright amber color. I dont know how well this is all going to workout, but im gonna be gettin them on Wednesday...i'll let you all know as soon as i do. The bad part about it is, for the set, it costs about 60 bucks, but i got the hook-ups, so im gettin it for 40. Look to see a new thread about my new turnsignals on wednesday later on a night. Wish me luck

I thought those bulbs just looked silver during the day, but they flash and glow amber all the time. At least that's what I have heard about them. I don't think that they're hyper whites at all. Maybe I'm wrong though

I dunno, but I agree and disagree. It just looks too kew with hyperwhites. My ride has blue signals and hyperwhite parking lights... looks bad-***... too bad to change.

On the other hand, the law sucks... but you gotta obey it.

I duno what state you live in but in Cali, they don't give away "fixing" tickets anymore... you just straight up get a solid ticket for having colored lights.

Perhaps if you made your headlights/park lights/signals all hyperwhite, you wouldn't have gotten caught.

I live in cali, and the pigs got me cause i had that bad a$$ look of hyper whites all over the place. I know it looks kewl, but he said that i have to change it cause i can have it written off now, but next time it will be a FAT ticket. Rigth now its only a $10 charge. And you are right they run and flash an amber color, thats why when i have them installed im not gonna connect the wire that makes it a running light..just a flashing light. So i will still have the sweet look at night untill i have to use my blinker, and still have that sweet look during the day with no amber reflections in the housing of my projectors. I'll keep you guys posted on the subject.

I've got a set of those bulbs on order through the shop I go to, Wicked Machine Racing, in Hawaii. They come in hyper white, blue, and amber. They only cost about 20 bucks a pair. I can't remember who the manufacturer is though.
