DC Sports header

Anyone know of a better price than $245 shipped from a reliable source in the states? (4-1 ceramic).

By the way, is there any disadvantage to the ceramic coating?

So far what I have found out is ceramic can be damaged easier than the stainless if I bottom out and doesn't prevent corrosion as well as the stainless. Looks like 2 pluses for the stainless, but then again I don't see myself bottoming out bad enough to hurt the header. The corrosion factor bothers me though.

Also, I do not race or go to the track and do not intend to. Wouldn't I be better off with the 4-2-1 instead of the 4-1?

And finally, all I can find is the 4-1 ceramic so what is the real story as far as what is available that we can buy now from DC Sports for the 2001 EX Coupe?

IDQcivic should not be trusted
I don't think you'll have to worry about bottoming out and breaking the header because it is a shorty not a full header, also DC sports only makes the 4-1 so that should make the decision easier. I got mine from Advance Imports and they have free shipping now on all DC headers.

They (Advanced Imports) have the stainless header listed for our cars. Waiting on a reply from them to see if it is actually available.

This is confusing, lots of conflicting info on exactly what is available from DC Sports as far as headers for the 2001 EX Coupe.

Only 4-1 top section is available and can been had in ceramic or stainless.
