Rep Power: 0 WHOA! if you saw that groupbuy for $50, don't buy it since it costs $5 to do that. There is one member on this site that has done this but i'll leave it up to him to reveal how to do it

Rep Power: 0 Tutrle is the one that has it. i tryed. i couldn't get the trunk to seal right, so i put it all back to normal. but $40 or $50 is a rip off, it cost maybe $10 for everthing. good luck to you, if you get it to work let us know.

Rep Power: 0 Anyone who spends $40 on that ought to be slapped, HARD!! Come on, what I have only cost me $5. HOwever, I am not finished with it. I an going to brace it and add a soleniod to hold it regularly. This should run another $10-$15, bringing it to about $25 for the whole thing, fully custom. If anyone wants this done to their car, I would do it for them for $100.
And, no. I will not tell anymore on how to do it. I have said enough inthe past about it. I am glad a lot of people like it, but I didn't expect a reaction like this from everyone. Sorry.

Rep Power: 0 Hey Turtle do you live in Atlanta Georgia? How much would it cost to come to Toronto, Ontario Canada? I was just wondering...if not that's kool. That's a really sweet DIY for show!

Rep Power: 0 Seriously. Turtle has said he didn't want to post a DIY about his trunk, so why continue to nag him about it? I haven't looked at my trunk all that much, but I'm sure if sat there and checked it out and thought about if for a little bit I could figure it out. Just like I've been thinking of this taillight conversion, just need to take a waltz over to the junkyard with some clippers and do a little barshin'.
