well im gettin recaro srd seats from a local seller and remembered about the srs issues and such. ive read thro alot of the diy and searched thro the site and if im correct these are the things i need to prevent problems with srs and things of that nature:

1) disconnect battery
2) unplug all plugs underneath seat(saw 3 sitting flush against the seat and 2 round ones)
3)take off the seat belt buckle and bar which includes a plug
4)attach the buckle to the new seat along with the bar and plug in the plug.
5)srs light will still go on so i would need to hard reset or buy the scs and reset with that.
6) everything should b set and ill b ready to go

wat i did find out is that you really dont need to disconnect the battery when unplugin srs and all those plugs underneath the seat as long as you dont start the car. if there is anything missing from above let me know dont want to go crazy trying to figure things out. oh btw these are seats in an 05 civic with side air bag. thx
