thought on purchase of HKS turbo

i need ur help guys. in the parts listing theres 10 different turbos for our civics in the HKS site. whats the difference between the 10 and which one is the best for winning local drag races around the block or so. i have a automatic ex coupe 2001.

none of them are for our cars. if u notice, you'll get the same turbos for any other car. there is NO HKS turbo kit out. sure you could get one of those turbos and fabricate the system. that is an option. as for the turbo kit,

well it's not out yet but they have been working on it and they said they can only get 30 horsepower out of it. it better be dirt cheap for me to buy that

thank yu civicvtec... these guys have been answering the wrong thing. i meant just the turbo charger guys. not turbo KIT.

A "kit" is not out yet, but there are many parts to make your own and do it right. Now tuning is another issue......

if you have the technical skills, you could use any of those HKS turbos on that page. it's all matter of funds and knowledge.

in regards to the 30hp....that is true..as of now....they have to find a way to feed the engine more fuel.....our cars have a returnless fuel system..which means that the pressure coming from the pump is set and there is no easy way to up that presure (FPR, fuel pressure regulator)....once they figure that out power will be brought!

go to hksusa.com and go to the forums and find the post about the 2k1 civic turbo kit and look at what the hks guys have written back. even if they do fix the fuel problem one guy mentioned that it still wont give much more power. plus i know it wouldn't.
