question about revo short shifter

I did some searching and could not find any answers. If I buy this revo short shifter does the adapter from honda still work on the boot, and can the boot be replaced for say a momo shift boot. I would prefer to change the boot but don't know any way to keep it up. and has anyone seen the m3 shift setups on ebay do they fit or look tacky? any help would be great.....

I used the spring trick and left my stock boot on. You just go to ace hardware(or any) and get a spring close to the shaft size and around 5 inches long plus or minus.

Stock boot will connect like stock with the Revo SS if you keep your stock shift **** or an RSX shift ****. The shifter assembly has nothing to do with the actual shift boot. The shift boot is on the center console so I'm not sure about what fits and what doesn't. My guess is if you get an aftermarket boot, it will more then likely not connect to the shift **** like stock.
