05 civic.... exhaust tips

whats a mounting bracket?... this muffler shop near me said hell weld my tip on for 20 bucks... and give me a new piece so that the tip comes straight out... im kinda scared to do that... but i seen someone say something bout a mouinting bracket for the tip.. whats that?

im not 100% but it *think* its something u can use to clip ur muffler on instead of welding

whatever you do, your best off with something that screws the tip onto the end of your muffler tailpipe. then later, you can remove it. only bad thing is a hole on the tailpipe.

see but the thing is... my tip is too big... its not that big though.. i seen some other people on this site with there tips on and there the same size... but mines will hit the top if i put it on... thats y im tryin to see how they did it
