:help: Putting new seats -> HELP

Hi guys,

I'm new to car and this is my first post here. I plan to put a new seats to my 2001 LX Coupe. I have no problem choosing sport seats but i need help to put my new seat in to my car. I did search in this forum but i didn't find out what i want. There are several things i need to know.

1. Remove my current seats.
My front seats have side airbag so how do i safely remove these seats without damaging the airbag, i might need to put them back in the future and i don't want them to be useless.
2. I plan to mod my current bracket to fitly mount with my new seat, someone experienced in this can tell me what to i need to do to modify these brackets.Anyone has picture or photo to demonstration that would great.

I would very appriciate detailed answers, thanks a lot.

Sorry if i ask for to much.

1. You're going to need new rails. You can't use the stock rails with aftermarket seats. A lot of companies make rails for racing buckets that fit in this car.
2. You need to disconnect all the stuff attached to the bottom of the seat before you pull it out.
3. Your SRS light will stay on.

Make sure your new seats have some sort of crash certification and you can fit seat belts through them. You shouldn't be using harnesses on the street.

Thanks for your quick reply.

Yeah i think my new seats have universal sliders including with the set. will I need to drill the new hole to my current brackets?

Edit: And about new bracket, i can't find bracket that made for my seat and for my honda. Is the aftermarket braket same as the OEm one?
