What the hell? There's lots of more silly stuff on this board than that guy's question. If he did a search on engine swaps he whouldn't find much help. Let's see if another engine swap topic draws some results instead of flames and non flames.

Anything is possible as far as engine swaps go. You could prolly make either one fit, but not without some serious modifications to the front end. I've got a friend that got an H22 for $1500, but dunno where he got it. To answer your question, it can be done, but it's gonna take alot of loot.

I haven't said much about people flaming, and I've been here a long time. If you don't have any USEFUL information to offer, then skip the thread and don't say anything. Nuff said.

The only engine thats not already in a 2k1 that would fit in a 2k1 without much problems (and we're not sure yet) is the K20A (RSX, RSXTypeS)

Yes, no one likes flaming, yes its annoying. And no, I can offer a lot of information, in fact I just did a little bit ago on a thread earlier today that i guess got deleted by the moderator cuz this thing has been beatin to death. The forum is not just somewhere to talk, you can also READ, yeah READ, its fun, i do it all the time. I'm not saying im an expert at everything, so i get a lot of information by listening to what other people have to say rather than repeating the same question thats asked every hour. And if you say u tried searching on this topic than u definitely do not know how to use a computer cuz its there have been at least 3 threads a day on engine swaps alone. OK, again, I'm really stressed out, 15 page research paper due in a day, no fun, so excuse the short temper. My best advice to all newbies is to listen and learn, you'll get a lot more information by reading rather than posting.
Ok, you want information? Alright, well a K20c is in the works of being dropped in right now, the engine alone cost 5000. It's still iffy but looks promising. The H22 is just way too big, you'll need to rip out a lot of things in order for it to fit, plus massage out a lot of metal, were talking serious work. Same with the b series engines. The other d block, the d16a, from the old skool integra, would most likely fit, but there's really no point since its non vtec and the wiring would be a nightmare. Sure its dohc but a few additional hp (we're talking 3-4) is definitely not worth the effort. Best bet is the RSX type S engine (k20c), 200 hp straight out of the box, not too shabby. Watch the thread, h-town is workin on it right now and it looks really promising. Hell, thats what im gonna do if it works out. Also talk to neomagus, he's been over this stuff soooo many times he's practically an expert by now. Well, i said my piece, i hope this helps ya, but do some research man. Whatever, peace.

When it comes to the engine swap only one person gets my attention and thats HTownEX for buying the K20A2 engine I put up and attempting to swap it in. If you seriously don't have the cash (7k +) dont even bother looking at a swap. Just hang on to your D block until it gets cheaper, dam impatient children...
