Diy headlights

Well im thinking of blackening out my headlights..but i'm really hesitating on whether its gonna look good or not. I have a fiji blue 04 coupe..and I havent seen anyone do this on a blue coupe yet..so if anyone has some pictures or a link to someone who has done this on a blue coupe please post it!

there is a member here with fiji blue 04 civic with blacked out housing. it looks pretty nice. heres how i did mines though. mine is kinda different from otheres...never seen anyone do it my style yet but yea.....

Try using the same fiji blue color on them. That would look sweet. I used the nhbp on my car and it matches the paint perfectly. Looks nice and uniform.

hmm i wonder what that would look like, you got any pictures? the thing is i want to black them out, but ive seen some that are way too black...i want it to look like jdm black housing, not too dark..

the reason why it "looks" too dark is because they left out the amber piece or cleared it. the contrast makes it look very dark. by keeping the amber piece, it'll contrast the headlights so it looks clean and simple still.

w/o amber:
with:

i think blacked out headlights on an 04 blue coupe would look real good. i done it to my enternal blue coupe and it turned out nice. looks even better with tints and matching colored parts (hood, wheels, grill, etc)

heres what mine look like. Like i said i used the NHBP paint for them so that they match perfectly. I thought that by leaving some chrome it looked a little more clean.
