Cheap "universal super charger"

I was reading Honda Tuning magazine and saw some inexpensive black and white ads in the back about an $80 super charger. I know it's not a real super charger. All it does is "create a vortech of air". It's a little round thing you insert into your intake and it makes the air swirl. There have been so called reports of decent HP gains from it. I am just not trusting it. Has anyone else ever used one of these and if so, is it worth it or is it just another scam?

Look in the parts section, it's listed as an electric supercharger.

What do you think the real hp gain would be? I don't trust their web sites.. most of the people they get testimonials from are using vipers. Question.. When they give you ranges of HP gains, do you get the maximum gain if you have a bigger engine, or bigger gain if you have more mods?

yeah... first off, yeah it is run off a lil terrible motor like that of a lil electric toothbrush, your motor could last you two days or 3 years, but the gains arent that much, if any, keep in mind that add shows the unit being lifted by the air it is "supercharging", but the unit is also light as hell... save that money for something real... just my advice tho, do as you please... neO
