engine internals

hey, i have a 2004 honda civic ex and i have a turbo in the making...long story short, after the turbo i want to improve the engine so it can handle more boost. i have found good pistons with a 8.5:1 compression ratio for 400 bux (pistons and pins and all) but good connecting rods are not so easy to find. crower makes rods for my car but they want 700 dollars for the set. this seems a little pricey to me. so im putting it out there....either respond with a tip on good rods for boosting at a decent price, or tell me how 700 dollars is avg. rod price and im going to have to suck it up and pay for it. i realli hope that few to non pick the latter and majority pick the former. well, thanks

signed, in need of strong boost
