F1 Formula Style Mirrors *Pics*
I installed the new Formula style mirrors on my ride today. They are really neat. The install only took about 45 minutes. The mirror part is solid metal and the connecting piece to the car is ABS plastic.
The mirrors have a wideangle feel to them. I can see the car directly next to me and still see my car in the mirror. It really helps to eliminate the blind spots of the car. The only negative that I can think of with the mirrors is that the passenger side setup is a little awkward. The A pillar blocks 1/8th the view of the mirror. Its not much but it is noticable.
While driving down the highway there is minimal to no vibration or shaking of the mirror. Only when I got the car to about 90mph did i begin to notice a vibration, but i could still makeout the cars behind me.
Enough talk, time for the pics...........
