JDM Shift ****/Boot

I like the JDM shift **** and boot. I've read the DIY on the boot/**** fix but what about if you buy an aftermarket boot (JDM)? How would you get the JDM boot to stay up to a JDM ****? Also, how would you actually attach the JDM boot to the center console?

I bought mine off a DC2 and i just had to cut it up at the bottom to fit into the slots. Then re-stapled it. It took me about 30 min. Stays up by I'm getting a short shifter that way it stays close to the **** as possible.

depends on what boot you have. If you got it from a DC2 like nemesis, you would do the same fix. If it doesn't have a clip then you are going to have to someone that has their boot like that cause I won't be able to help you.

if you wrap black electrical tape around the gear stick ,just under the thread , enough to create a small bulb of tape before you replace the console then screw the **** on it ill tighten together
