Headlight installation

This is probably a repost. But i searched and couldnt find much.

I have an '04 Civic and i bought Halo Projectors. Now i was just going to sit down and figure out the install, but they didnt come with any kind of instrucions. Then some guy i know, not really a friend, he told me that you need to take it to get done at a body shop.

Do yo need to go to a body shot? If you can do it yourself, anyone have like a link with instructions? Bc i looked online for a while and couldnt find this info.

just take off your bumper and remove the bolts that hold the headlight in place, replace with new one, wire up your halos by tapping a power source and then reverse the process.

It's easy... two wires. One's positive and one's negative. Just ground the negative wire anywhere you want and tap the positive wire to the headlight wire.

Ok I finally found time to do the install. and i hit a dead end. I will explain this the best i can but please forgive me if it doesnt make too much sence. I wish i could post pictures to help explain what i am trying to say, but i am on a government computer and i cant upload them.

Everything went smooth until i tried to connect all the wires. Theres 3 different plugs in the car. On the headlight theres 2 plugs and then a one wire that has a positive and a negative. The plugs match up fine one for the headlight one for the high beams. I pluged them in and turned the lights on and they work fine. But the last one is for the turn signals/ hazards. There is no plug on the headlight, so i figured i could just splice it. But the plug from the car has 3 wires that go into it. And the one on the headlight only has 2. Are these lights going to work? Should i return them?

I am sorry if this makes no sence again. But i explained it the best i could.

have you tried plugging them in? seriously, though, i don't understand what you're trying to get at.

there is a bulb that has a socket with 2 prongs, but your car's wiring has 3 holes for 3 prongs? is that it? if that's the case, then the headlights you have are probably not worth what you paid for them

yea i did that The headlight has 3 wires running off it. 2 of the wires have plugs. i matched them and pluged them in. One for the highs one for regular, they work fine. But the 3rd on has no plug just a red and black wire. But on the car the plug has 3 wires running into it, a red a black and a blueish gray one.

lol, i cant draw to save my life. But even if i could it wouldnt help. I am in the Navy and right now i live on my ship. So the only place i have access to the internet is on here or at one of the computer labs on base. And none of them will let me upload pictures.

i guess what hes trying to say is that the headlight he bought, only has 2 plugs , one for high beam one for low beam, whereas his car, has one for high beam, one for low beam and one for the turning signals so thats where the problem is..so something like
--> <---
--> <---
?<---

no there are 3 wires coming off the headlights

Wire #1: has a plug and plugs in no problem (headlights go on)

Wire #2: has a plug and plugs in no problem (brights go on)

Wire #3: has no plug just a red and a black wire coming out of it.

The plug that it should go into (as far as i know) has 3 wires going into it.
