revo short throw shifter

Hey guys i think this is the right spot to post this but anyways, i was wonderinf if anybody put one in there car and what else do i need other than just the shifter i heard that you should upgrade to metal shims and take out the stock ones. Can someone help cuz i would like know for when i buy mine thanks guys

alot of people including me are runnig the revo. you don't NEED anything extra but grey's clip upgrade is nice and if you want stiffer shifting there are aluminum bushings to replace the rubber ones available also. Before anyone else says it you should try the search feature you will find lots of info on this subject.

its a very nice upgrade. I love it more than everything else I done but the turbo. Get Greys upgrade kit, so you dont have rattling (or polyfill to keep it from rattling like I did, hehe). Its only luke 7 bucks for the upgrade kit, and that piece makes it worth it. The other stuff he sent didnt make much of a difference, not that I felt, others like the upgrade kit more.
