I am planning on getting a HVS soon(like tomorrow) but what is the difference between SUN's Type MR and their new one the HVS GT(Hot Inazma Hyper in Japan) and is it worth the extra 30 or 40 bucks for the GT
I am looking too, but I thought I'd get the cheaper one, and use the extra money toward the hyper ground to go with it.
Am I wrong or do you need both Hyper Voltage AND Hyper Ground?

Look at the Apexi one while you're at it. It includes the voltage and ground in one package, and a bit cheaper.

you don't NEED both but its better to have it i guess.
i heard good review of the hyper voltage system, not sure about the Apexi tho. but pretty sure they both do about the same thing...

you know it is not only just grounding wires, right?

Ya that's basically it. Get the MR the others are just different versions of the same thing with ground wires already attached. You can buy some wire and upgrade the factory grounds later if you want. It's not a must.

and gearbox, u got the MR right? do u know what's the spec of the capacitor inside that thing?

you know what on second hand you might be better of with a cap http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=14310

or go crazy, but you might be pushing your luck (16v) http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=13755

but how many farad is in the MR voltage system tho.?
... and yea if u get anything higher than 1 farad, it would cost about same as just buying one of those voltage systems.

However, the closer to the actual voltage you will run the better - as the larger the voltage, the slower the recovery time and the less benefit you will see (if any).
Caps are rated in farads - but that's their storage capacity. They also have a working voltage. And you definitely need a charging ressitor when charging it - cuz that sucker acts like a current sponge, and will fry something else with a surge if you don't slowly charge it, especially anything over 1F....
