Here I go...second post with another noob question. Hey you got to start somewhere and learn from there. I'm looking into getting a lip kit for my 01 sedan and wondered whats popular/looks best, and whats the difference between whats found on ebay and a more well known place. If you can tell me where to order/look at any let me know. Ok last question for this post, how much does it cost to get it paint matched(approx.)? Thanks

from my expierence on this board, most people have the type-a front lip and oem. basically, buttloads of members here have a front lip from that following list.

all lips are usually made with abs plastic material, besides oem and tsunami, that are sold on ebay. other sites sell the same **** u see on ebay... but people dont buy off eBay cuz too many dam guppies on that site..

i asked few others how much paint matching to my stock color would be, rough estimate is $100 for just the front lip. if you get all 4 lips (1 front, 2 sides, 1 rear) painted, then they'll prob cut u a deal and can get away with $250 something lesser or higher.



and search fool i think theirs a faq page that lists few sites that provide parts for cheap and best service and what not

Well to get it painted (if it doesnt come painted).
probably about 6 hours paint labor time. then you have to pay materials and booth time. average labor rate is 36 an hour I believe so
6 x 36 = 216
Materials = about 70
Booth time= might be free might me some odd fee depends on where you do.

And your kit will not match 100%. Considering you have a silver car, the honda silver has 7 paint variants in it. and the same variant color will not match on metal from plastics. Probably going to look at an 85% match to your body. Very hard to notice it though.

Nopi.com has the Polyurethane Tsunami kit for the 04-05. Great looking kit, IMO...and it's the cheapest place for the Tsunami.

Does anyone know where I can find a full type r lip kit? I've only been able to find a front bumper? Or does this not even exist?
