??question about shocks??
hi i own a 04' civic ex...and i was wondering if these shocks are good enuf for my ride. They are: KYB GR2 Gas Shocks and Struts..with Dropzone Springs. i already have the springs..im just wondering if the shocks are good enuf...or if someone knows some better shocks that are for a cheap price..plz tell me..thanks.
everyone has their own perference. but what are your expectations of shocks/struts and springs?
i think the shocks you have now are fine for daily driving but word of mouf that the tokico blues are better but i am NOT sure if that is true. keep the ones you have now, they are great and you already spent the cash for them.
as for the springs, consider a better set of springs than dropzone. dropzone springs/coilovers belong in the generic/knockoff catergory. check out some better springs like eibach, neuspeed, etc.
highly suggest you to read the suspension faq here: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/fa...s#faq_susp_faq
and the shock/strut faq here: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=171892
