There are two press in clips in the front footwells on either side, be careful, they are fragile. Then slide open the little compartment by the hand brake, and pull up firmly, its very tight. There are two phillips screws under that towards the shifter. Then slide both seats foward and there are two more on either side next to the rear cup holder. Then remove the shift **** and lift the back of it up and slide it out from under the dash.

our car is like a little toy to take apart. I figured out how to do the whole interior including dash, than like a week later I found a DIY on this site. I lost about 10 screws since it took me about 2 weeks. Enjoy your shifter, does it work, Ive heard that they sometimes make it a little more???

installed the dcsports short throw adapter today. very nice fit, easy to install and a great product over all. installed it in less than 5 minutes. reduced my throq by about 3/8 of an inch or so. also made my shifts feel MUCH more direct.
