i had one on my car a while back before I got an AEM short ram. Like most any bolt on all it will do is change your powerband, not give you HP. I did notice a better low end with the cheap ebay intake and it had a lower sound as well. The AEM had better throttle response and sounds cleaner. The ebay one definately did not fit very well, but I never had and mechanical issues with it. Ill sell you my old one if you want! Fits DX/LX

I heard some of them cause you to lose HP.
So unless you're one of those people who gets an intake just for the sound it makes, you might want to do more research before you buy.

yea, i had a generic intake before...and yes, like stated above, the biggest problem with them was that:
1) it didn't fit properly
2) the bracket always definitely breaks after the first few days...
couple of other problems i find with generic intake is you'll find extra holes here and there sometimes depending on which one u buy...but if your definitely just looking for sound and looks, go with a generic....if your looking for performance, go with a brand name and spend the money...
i currently have the aem v2, and i absolutely love it...
but in all honesty, an intake is an intake....without heavy mods, it doesn't really do jack **** for your car...
