icu reading new performance mods
i have a 2001 honda civic ex and just wondering do i need to reset my ecu to get the performance out of my new mods, i added a mid-section and 4-1 header? or can i just ran it to 200 miles instead?
^^^ It was in plain english...go to school to comprehend.
Anyways, just disconnect your battery for about 10 minutes and plug it back in to reset your ECU. Otherwise you are correct, you'll need to do about 200 miles to get it to reset on its own.
However, with the midpipe and header you'll see it right away. I think you're thinking of either a cold-air intake, or short-ram intake having to reset you ECU.
