illuminated ignition?

HOw can i get or diy illuminated ignition that comes standard in some vics , but not mine - to get the key in in the dark to the ignition (green illumination)..I want it!

to go ghetto you could get some of that glow wire and wrap it around the area and tap into the interior light. Wouldn't be too hard but might look like a$$

It's really stupid and the green is barely visible. I would trade you if there was a way cause I'd rather not have it light up.

ok gear, if you say so man, I leave my car light off, always, I don't like the car being lit up at night, so no light comes on when I get in, that is why I wanted the mild green light, i guess I got this way working as a police officer, don't like my car lit up and everyone seeing me at night inside....my key ignition area is scratched up a bit due to trying to find the ignition...but it is not noticeable really.
