Decent Radar Detector?
Decent Radar Detector?
i've been searchin around and heard the valentine one being one of the best radar detectors out.
the thing is, im not much of a speeder..once in awhile i'll catch myself goin over the limit then all of a sudden see a trooper a block ahead of me ready to gun me down.
wuts a decent reliable radar detector..one that will help, nothin too extreme..i jus dont wanna dish out $300-$400 for a radar detector

I have the Escort Passport 8500 XD. It still runs about $300 though. I had a cobra (model unknown). I paid about $100 for it and it did its job. It picked up alot of mixed signals, but it worked alright. The Passport 8500 works great for me though...and I am definatley a speeder. Just dont forget that if your troopers in your state are using LASER than all a radar detector will do is let you know how fuked you are! Because when your detector says laser that means you have been shot!
Passport and Bel have just released new detectors that are even better than the Passport 8500...I suggest getting the best if your gonna get one at al. Check out this link if you want more info: www.radarbusters.com
