Im feelin the power !!!

Changed original oil at 4K to Mobile 1 super syn 5-30, then at the second change put in some amsoil 5-20 and man, is there a noticabel kick!!

It's 85 degrees. And the " thinner oil" part..isnt that the point? Besides the fact that Amsoil is the best, slippriest oil money can buy.

but mobil1 is a popular brand....im using mobil1 5w-20 right now....works good

well worn down oil will feel dull then you go to fresh oil, its nice and peppy again...

if you switch back to normal oil... it will be like that too, the only real benefit of having the synthetic is that it lasts longer than normal oil...

In some cars Amsoil works better, in some cars Mobil 1 works better. Bottom line is that both oils are great.

BTW... Amsoils tests are very subjective and somewhat misleading... like all advertising.

With the Amsoil preferred customer discount, you can get it for less than Mobil 1.

Any power gains from switching from 5w-30 to 5w-20 are in your head though.

What kind of filter are you using?
