Post Lip kits???

Can someone explain lip kits to me? How durable are they? How are the attached to your car (screws or glue or what)? I sorta lookin at these oppose to body kits because of the cost and the fact i live up north and i get dents in my bumper like nobody's business. Who has had good or bad experience with them?

Lip kits are held on with double sided tape and a couple of screws. I think the Kaminari Lip Kit is the best looking one for our cars BTW. Search around... you'll find a ton of info.

And no, lip kits dont cost less then body kits.... about the same.

invasian is an unknown quantity at this point
you dont really need double sided tapes...unless your worried its gonna fall of or something. i had the rs lip kit and its the cleanest thing you can get. its all screwed on and looks kinda like an older model si at forst glance. looks really nice. the rs lipkit usually runs for about $300-400. this is only the replica though, the real one costs around $1k cause you'd have to ship it from japan. but dont get the japanese one cause it doesnt fit. as for duralbitiy, get any lip kit that is made of polyurethane. NEVER BUY FIBERGLASS.

^lip kits attach on you're stock bumpers, and sides. Held on by screws, and in some cases double sided tape. Most lip kits are cheaper than body kits, except when you look at kaminari or wings west. Also painting a lip kit is much cheaper, because there is less material to be painted. Most lips are very durable, and even some fiberglass if it is made properly. Overall urethane or ABS lip kits are the way to go.
Hope this helps.
