s7 dimensional guages question...

http://216.82.69.117/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=EGHC01EXM-S7

^^^ i'm planning on getting these, but it seems that everyone that has them doesn't seem to have that red ring on the guage faces.

this isn't really that big of a deal for me, but the tach looks way off...anyone with these installed verify this? or is the picture just different from the actual product?

actually i don't think the tach is off .. if you look where the hole for the little pin thing that the needle rests on .. its at the zero like it should be

The redline doesn't start until 8500, but the numbers turn red at 6800. I think that's what he was talking about.

oh, i was referring to the numbers not being in the same position as the stock guages...but i think the redline is in the right position, it's just the numbers are off.

they seem too close together.

the only thing is that everything comes in sepaerate pieces so it depends on you if everything is aligned right.

i got them on ebay
it was like ten bucks cheaper
but for the tach it depends on how good u align it because it comes in seperate pieces. it looks like i did a good job but i dont know for sure but if it is off it doesnt seem like.
if you get them just take ur time on puttin them together the alignment seem s ok

did anyone email AC autotechnic about the problem? because if they havent made any change on them means they probably dont know whats going on with those guages.

vtec has not to do w/ ur tach. lx and ex, is the same..tach numbers only changes with auto/manuel/dx...tach oem face colors change w/ year

Every web site said it will but they are completely different. I would email them to make sure they do. If they say no ask them if the SI 02-current would fit your car cause someone told me there the same as the 03 civic gauges.

well I do know this, that crap saying that they fit a 2003 EX is just that - Crap! I have a 03 EX and it has the 3 gauge cluster and that stuff won't work at all -- just some cents out there to look at--
