Okay everyone. A few months ago I drove my car to the Chicago meet and recorded my mileage info. Basically I drove at 65mph or 55mph 98% of the time and used cruise control and no A/C. The result--30mpg. Not that impressive.
Recently I installed the hyper voltage system from sun automotive. This is the only thing I've added to my car since the last road trip. Now last weekend, I drove up the the meet again. This time going the same speed with cruise, but also using the A/C quite a bit on the way over. Now I would say that the second time was more like 90% highway, since I did some city driving after the trip as well. Guess what--33.7mpg! That's almost 4mpg difference than before. This thing really works. Read about it below...

He means if you are going with wind, you have less air to move, so better mpg. Just like drafting a big rig - same idea.

I would agree with the rest of the posts. It is possible when you last went there you were fighting a head wind and the second time around you caught a tail wind. Same thing happened with my wife's 4 door LX. We drove from Louisiana to Tennessee and while going up we caught a tail wind, stayed consistent at 70 mph and got 40 mpg. On the ay back to Louisiana we were fighting the head wind and dropped down to 32/34 mpg.

Yah that product is a decent upgrade.
plus they have differentlevels for different things the one you have will imporove the following
*Increased torque (average gain 5 lbs)
*Increased horsepower
*Increased throttle response
*Brighter headlights
*Reduced audio noise
*Improved fuel efficiency
*Longer battery life
You shoul also install a grounding wire kit to wrap it all together, I'm sure you will yeild even better results.

Nice. I'll let you know what my results are (since I average about 26-28 mpg) when I have a chance to work on my car this spring/summer.

it could be various other factors and not the voltage system. I heard that using A/C is better than having the windows down on the highway becuase of the drag on the car. So i really dont think its the system you got but i dont know that for a fact, lol.
dude all you have to do to get better gas mileage for free......... IS NOT BE 19 and have a manual trannie hahahahaha!!! And drive like you still got your rents in the car. It helps me hahaha but only when they are in the car haha

Lol. The thing is I usually drive the same. Over the last three tanks since I got this put on, I've been getting an average of 25mpg instead of 22-23 with city and highway driving. So it did help at least 2mpg. Car is a bit more responsive as well.
