Aem Big Rotor with Pad

I just got my AEM big rotor installed yesterday... they work amazing but i don't have brake pad
because i brought a set of hawk and i have the part number HB209F.583 but my mechanic said it's too small... did anyone have this problem? ? if so which pad did u use?

i dont know crap about the big rotor kit, but couldnt you use AEM pads too? for the rotor kit? maybe beats me

which rotor are you talking about the black carbon one that is like almost the same size as stock,or the actual bigger one that you need 17" wheels for?

I didnt have any problems with my pads. Im using the OEM pads at the moment. I got the Actual Big Brake rotors that require at least a 17 to fit under

reddragon do you actually feel a difference? i mean can you stop faster? has the extra unsprug weight hurt you at all? was it worth it?

^^^ yeah, well when you get the brake pads in let us know. I haven't seen a reason to do this because I figured that I could still lock the brakes at 65 mph (or should I say trip the ABS), what else are bigger brakes gonna do other than dissapaite for heat and make me trip the ABS soonner? But I'm not sure if I know what I'm talking about.

ok i put my brake rotors in and i have hawk hp + pad... and u need 16" rim for it... but i don't i have 15" rim but still fit... but u have to sew down ur caliper a bit to get it fit... i'll tried to get a picture of it....
brake is still running in right now.... but they are really good at the moment... i'll try to get a picture
