Question Tie rod endlink ?

i just warped my tie rod (steering rod)
by hitting it with a mallet out of frustration

because it wouldn't come off....so now the screw
won't come on


any specific idea where i can buy a new one?
i can't seem to find it on majestic honda either

My friend, I think this is one for your Honda dealership. DId u use a tierod disconnector? If not then shame on you.

you might still be able to salvage it.. follow the steps mentioned in my Spring Install DIY. I've been able to use warped bolts over and over again.

I did the same thing... had to buy new tie rods from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/home.htm

They sell a fork looking tool at pepboys that helps it seperate it from the shock.

^^ That's what I have. We also warped one of my friends bolts, and all we did is file down the thread we warped and then put the bolt back on there. Don't let me make it sound easy, it was damn annoying.
