Painting the chrome projector my car color?

Ive thought about it a little bit. The chrome areas around the angel eye, projetor, signal bulb, and high beam area. I was pondering painting it to match the car, the satin silver color. I know Ferrari does it and it looks pretty cool, anyone else try this, or think it would be a good idea.

I thought of painting my TYCs red (to match the car) and only leave a chrome ring arround each lense (like the mazda 3). And yes, Ferrari does it, so does Aston Martin, Buggati and most exotics, but I don't know if the lights would look as sweet if they weren't attached to a sweet car. I'm gonna stick to my chrome for now, untill they get older and maybe the chrome starts fading away or something.

nah, IMO wont look good... Well, If you have a bodykit and everything then yes it will look good.

I had part of my tycs painted the same color as my car and I thought it was mad ugly... Then, the guy painted over it with shiny black or w/e its called.

you dont have any pictures of that do you? Just curious, I saw the area painted silver on an older civic and it looked decent.

you have to use flat paint, not gloss.. so i'd only do it black, no other color.
