Greddy Turbo Timer

does anyone have the greddy turbo timer on a non-turbo car? i was looking at the info and it seems like it has alot on nice features that could be helpful to anyone weather they have turbo or not. would it be kinda lame to ahve this on a non turbo car because im thinking about getting it because it seems like a nice investment. for anyone who has installed it, was the installation hard and did you buy one specifically for your car model? thanks for the help.

Info about it from Greddy's webpage:
The basic function of a turbo timer is to allow the vehicle to idle the engine for a timed period, with the ignition key removed. This allows the engine oil and turbo center cartridge to cool down and prevent internal turbo damage. GReddy Full Auto Timers pack tons of features into one economical, compact unit. In addition to two standard programmable count down presets (P-1, P-2), the GReddy Full Auto Timer also has two auto timer modes (A-L, A-H). The modes estimate the driving RPM according to the vehicles alternator signal and then recommend a count down time. Also new are the stopwatch/lap time and attack modes along with a built in voltmeter and speedometer. Still standard are the optional parking brake and speedo safety hook-ups.

they're universal, not car specific. easy to install takes ten minutes. AND theres really no reason for an NA car to have it ... only reason i can see you having it is for a volt meter.

i have one and yeah it's extremely easy to install. you just have to buy the timer not the adapter and then you just splice into all the right wires. i don't know about the lap time stopwatch cause all i use is the timer.
