2.5''.. or 2.25'' again?

I need to get my custom cat-back piping redone because the previous muffler shop where I had gotten it done at messed up. The piping hung too low, and it would even scrap over speed bumps. Even when my car was stock height. Now, my car is lowered a good 3'' and it scraps at just about every speed bump, so now I need to get a new custom cat-back.

The piping that I have right now is 2.25'', but I was wondering if 2.50'' would work any better. Has anyone made the change from a 2.25'' cat-back to 2.50'' piping? If I were to get 2.50''? would it be any better or worse than the 2.25'' that I have right now?

Cool. Yeah I'll just stick with the 2.25'' then.

Why do you think that you would be happier with 2.25'' 01civicboi? What's the 2.50'' like?

I already got it redone on Monday.. I got 2.25'' again. The muffler shop told me that I had really shitty piping before. My friends say that my car sounds smoother now. Can't really tell a difference in power, but I have seen dynos that proof that exhaust systems perform better when they are broken in.

there's nothing wrong with 2 inch piping, adds a little backpressure to the system. And that kiddies is what we all need in our underpowered little hondas

I don't think that it is really worth the money, it is probablly a difference that is not noticable.

Not unles your racing seriously. Even then it's just a small tweak worth a few hundredths.
