well, i got my wings west g5 kit today, and im pretty disappointed with it. i bought it used, so i was expecting i would have to repaint it, but i ran into another problem with how it was packaged. The front lip and one of the sides was fine, but the rear and one side kinda got warped/bent in the shipping. it is not cracked and there are no creases, just the shape is bent a bit. the back sides were bent in to ship it and the side skirt was twisted a bit. is there any way to fix this? thanks for the help.
just leave it out in a normal temp room and it should go back to its original form. If not, when you install it, it should come out fine. When I recieved my tsunami front bumper (from tsunami themselves) it came in a box and the sides of the bumper were squeezed in leaving it a little bent. But after a while it just took its normal shape. After you get it painted and when you install it, it should be just fine.

see the thing is it sat in a box being shipped for a week with the sides of the rear taped in so that they would fit in the box. this is kinda how it looks. the sides were held in by tape represented by red in the picture. i dont know how the side got messed up, but it is just twisted a bit.

I ordered a grill from someone and it was the same way. Wait for it to warm up (or take it inside) and SLOWLY bend it back into shape. You'll just have to do a little at a time, until it's back to normal. Urethane is weird like that.
take it and put it outside in the sun and it should be fine. thats how my rear bumper was and its fine now. just put it out in the sun and itlets it melt down the urethane a little to its original form

see, the thing is it is like 10 degrees here. there is no where it could go to warm up. maybe i can turn on the fireplace and put them near that

ok i got them by the fireplace now. how long should i leave them there? should i try to bend them back, or just let them bend back on their own? here is a pic showing kinda how bad they are bent.

just let it warm up for a while. you can speed up the process with a hair dryer if needed. just don't get to crazy. give it time.

the rear came out fine now, but the side still has a twist in it. im just gonna assume that will come out when it gets installed and painted. im sure the body shop will have some way to fix that too. thanks for the help everyone.
