timing belt
Well it's better to be safe than sorry and my car is about due for a timing belt. Anyone know what the dealer charges for this service, we DO have interferance motors, correct? Anyways, thanks for the imput, I hate the dealer but it seems like the best place to have this type of work done. any thoughts?

Have you already hit 110,000 miles on your car? Cause that's when out Timing chain needs to be checked.

I will have the mileage in the spring. I was making a list of all the maintance stuff I should do and this is one of them. I really haven't done much except the basic oil changes, etc and the car runs great. Anyways, you're saying we have a CHAIN? I know i should know this, but I never really looked into it.

I don't think anyone here has had their car long enough to have 100,000+ miles on their car.
Well I got quoted on my 96 and they told me 150 + tax, but it is regurly 200+tax because I bought the 96 from them for my winter car thats why they are giving me the better deal! Hope this helps just dont let them try to charge you 3 to 4 hundred dollars because it only takes about 2hrs labor and a 40$ belt.
