I bought the NGK Iridium, no real difference I didn't think. . The old plugs had some carbon build, but nothing too bad.
I have used Bosch Platinum +4s in my old car, a Geo Metro. .lol. It made that thing run alot better, but the stock plugs in that thing were the cheapest on the market and they were worn out.
Our Civics have NGK Platinums in there stock, so the only real upgrade would be Iridium. The grade of metal is what produces a cleaner spark, which is why the cheap ones are steel, the mid-grade is platinum, and the expensive ones are Iridium. just because there are 4 spark transmission points doesn't mean too much.
Like MatrixShark said, I can't really notice any difference either, I have gained some fuel efficiency though, but not that much, and the performance isn't that noticeable. . I think it might be a tad bit smoother in 2nd gear when I'm driving it hard, but that's about it. Hardly noticeable. So unless you know your stock ones are getting bad, or you just have money to blow, it's probably not worth it.

I tried the NGK Iridiums and they were ok not really any power gain maybe a little bit smoother. IMO not worth the 35-50 dollars for the set. From now on I am sticking with Autolite Copper Plugs.
