They already make the sedan with the K20 and rear disc brakes in Thailand. It's already LEV rated, like the Si. It's also available with a 5-speed auto (we have 4-speed autos) like the RSX with grade logic control. It's got 195/60 R15 tires with alloy wheels, leather, a hybrid-ish front bumper, and upgraded interior bits.
I don't think it's a matter of "if" but when they'll put it in the coupe and maybe the sedan. They're getting behind in the horsepower wars and they're not stupid. They'll do it eventually, but will it be the 2005 or the next generation, that's the question.

They will have to do something for the next gen vics, otherwise all the sales will be going to the faster cars out there (everyone except honda). I have a feeling the next gen will just be a 1.8L VTEC.
Looks great! Actually looks like a larger, more expensive car instead of an econobox like my 97 tends to look like...I think it bears more than a passing resemblence to the 98-02 Accord coupe. We weren't even going to buy a Civic until the new 04s came out, and once we saw the new design, made our final decision.
Just goes to show, there isn't just ONE opinion in this world.

I spent 1425 points to do this.

i love the tail lights! i like the narrower headlights too... a little narrower, and it would almost look like a mazda protege. notice how the new civic headlights are looking more and more like the old accord ones? and the new accord ones are bigger, looking like the 01 civics?
i always loved the shape of the last gen accord headlights, nice and eagle-eye looking.

I agree, I have an 03 and I would have waited for the 04 if I knew honda was going to redesign the front like that. It looks more aggressive that the 01-03's front. But Honda didn't increase the engine power so I don't feel that bad.
