The new 2004 aero kit
It's nice of honda to revise the front and rear of the Civic for 2004. BUT SOMEONE ANSWER THIS FOR ME. WHY DOESN'T HONDA PUT THE 160hp SI MOTOR IN THE COUPE LIKE THEY DID FOR THE PREVIOUS GENERATION CIVIC COUPE. I have no problem with honda putting the motor SI Hatchback. But wouldn't honda be better served if they put the motor in the Civic Coupe Also??????????????????? Honda could make a killin this option Any thoughts on this?

I agree because cosmetic changes will get the Civic only so far if the engine hasn't changed. It's not like honda would need to do some market research study to put the SI engine in the coupe. And the conversion for honda should be a no brainer. I saw an SI hatchback at the dealer the other day and All the differences from the coupe that I noticed are this. The Hatchback has 5 lugs vs the coupe's 4, The hatch also has 4 wheel disk brakes vs the coupe's front disk rear drum setup, and of course the most obvious thing is the engine. All honda needs to do is the reach into their parts bin and put those parts on the Civic Coupe. To me it's a no brainer. Think about it........ Honda sells us the Acura TSX here in the states when in the rest of the world it's called the Accord Euro R. http://www.clubtsx.com/gallery/categ...at_id=6&page=3

hmmm... I'm not a big fan but there isn't much that I can do about it.
Yes Honda needs to use the K20 in the Civic sedan/coupe so it will stay competetive.

Looks nice.
Engine changes in the Civic engine for the 8th gen. Rumors has it that the civic might get the 160 HP while North America gets the SiR(Si) coupe back with a 180 HP engine. Tthe hatch stays Euro and in the land with the rising sun. As for the ctr it will never see North America.
The Civic (except the SiR(Si)) will probally use a very watered down K - Series so it can qualify as a ulev vehicle.
Once again these are just rumors and might be false, but if they prove true we were one of the few who knew it first.

Hey they took my idea for a rear lip (well kind off). The new rear lip kind of reminds me of the type B rear lip which I have on my car. I even had my type b notched like that to fit my muffler.

Not feeling it at all. Almost looks like there are two kits combined or something. Not smooth flowing--original OEM kit is much cleaner.
