DHracing Portwork
I finally dyno'd my car with the DHracing ported head.
Stock on 5.5 psi i made 165 whp and 166 ft/lbs.
Portwork on 4.8 psi I made 175 whp and 177 ft/lbs.
At the higher boost settings, the portwork really showed its quality. I made 200 ft/lbs at 3800 RPM on 11 psi. My stock clutch let go at 200 ft/lbs, but we expected it to make upwards of 250-260 ft/lbs.

I am intrigued aswell how much does it set you back and would it yield decent numbers on a na system. I am thinking of using my 2nd d17 for full engine build up then get it turboed.

You will have to contact DHracingJosh about the pricing. I know it was $750, but that was a month ago. He may be doing it cheaper now.
As for why i couldnt do it on 5.5 psi.... my boost controller was not my friend today. I think i broke it when i was messing around with it the other day.
I did feel some gains with the car NA, but i was on a modified EX header, and it would not be fair to Dhracing to dyno it with the stock parts, because that really negates the whole point of the portwork. With the Dhracing intake manifold, head, and a good CAI and headers, i think that the car could easily outrun an RSX-s. I was hanging with Si's and pulling slightly on them with the setup i had NA. So i think that the whole package from DHracing would be great for those looking to go a route other than FI

NOT NOT NOT running the intake mani as well... hes only runing the ported head... as far as power at 5.5psi would be just add on about 7hp or so.... 1psi = 10hp or so... so 17WHP with only 5.5psi... that torque at 11psi is SICK....

When you say 1 psi = 10 whp, that doesnt go for everything. Remember, the ported head makes more power per psi. I tried getting a dyno at 5.5 psi, but the boost controller went from 4.9 to 8 to 4.5 to 11. It was all jacked up. I was barely turning it.
I just need to replace the spring in the controller and it should be fine. It is all bound up in the bottom of it.
