If that is the case why don't you just get a shift light with chips. Little cheaper and you don't have an unnecessary tach. Check out Options auto salon for examples

Rep Power: 0 thanks never lnew that...still want the whole tach.just personal taste i guess....but thanks again.....do all shift lights work like that?I always thoght you just set them...Is that only for the stand alone shift lights>
