Eyelids attached to hood?
Can it be done? I mean, instead of sticking the eyelids to the headlamps, wouldn't it be better to just somehow make them an extention of the hood? I'm just throwing the idea out there to see if anyone has tried it and come up with any problems, or what not.

i think its an ok idea.. but i wouldnt do it... they are meant to be on the headlights not to mention they can break off... Once they are on the headlights with enough 3M tape, they wont come off (as least mine havent)
by opening/closing the hood a lot, ya never know =\

Im in the process of doing that. It will not break off if the person doing the body work is good. Its like molding your skirts to your car, or molding your front lip to your bumper. I molded my rear and front lips to my bumper and have not had a problem..

That is a big thing here in Germany. The shop here cuts a piece of sheet metal and then they fiberglass over that. I think it looks sweet. My Friend in the German Honda Club is going to do it for me for free in the spring all I have to do is get it painted. You see that all over the place here but not much in the states. I'll be there in Sept.
