Chips?

Anyone know if there is a chip out for us that raises our rev limiter and doesn't mess up the ECU? I mean those stupid Ebay chips.... or spoon and mugen chips for 9.00 on ebay

No one makes one yet. But uping the rev limiter on our motors might not be a good idea. You might have to upgrade the valve train first before the D17 could hold higher revs. Hondata might be able to make you a custom ECU flash to advance the timing and rasie the rev limiter. With just rasing the rev limiter your more than likely not going to make anymore power. But call Hondata. See what they say.

Also if you do get a custom flash done through Hondata see what they can do for FI. Sense you are saving for a SF kit.

You can call jetchip.com and see as well.
Here is what I found there.

Does JET Performance remove the speed and rev limiters?
It depends on the specific vehicle. On most chips, we eliminate the top speed limiter. The rev limiter is raised when possible and is completely dependent on the application.

hondata wont make **** for u. there way far from trying to mess with our ecu, ive talked to them so many times. and jet chip just upgrades what u have done to ur car like i/im/h/e iish like that. eh...... but that's the last thing u want to get when u have added all the bot on's to ur car. but if u got the money aem makes a ems for our car wich is like 1,500. and u can mess with as much as u want with that thing. but to tune hahahaha that's like another 1,500-2,000 if u want ur car to run it's best useing that system.

my buddy has the AEM EMS. I was planning on getting the Valvetrain by DH in a few weeks. I was just curious.
